SCR Emulator V4 EVO is a special version of the V4 type emulator. This V4 emulator version optimized for some specific trucks like Volvo EURO 5 / Renault EURO 5 (Volvo 4-series FH4, FM4, FMX4, FE4, FL4, Renault 4-series C, D, K, T, Kerax), Mercedes-Benz MP4 (EURO 5) and Scania EURO R730 (EURO 5). If you need to override the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system on any of these trucks, there are no alternative emulators. Only SCR Emulator, V4 EVO emulators, are compatible and capable of dealing with SCR systems on Volvo FH4, Mercedes-Benz MP4 (EURO 5), and Scania EURO R730 trucks. These devices are not programmable, and it means that you can’t change the preloaded program (also, there are some differences between cables). It means that if you have ordered SCR Emulator V4 EVO for Scania EURO R730, it can’t be installed on Volvo FH4 trucks. The installation process is simple, and there is no need for special tools or specific knowledge. Just read the installation manual carefully and follow all instructions. It is highly recommended to erase all DTC errors before installation. Also, we recommend checking OBD for DTC errors right after installation. Do not try to install this emulator on more common Volvo and Scania trucks, as we mentioned before, it’s compatible only with Volvo FH4, Mercedes-Benz MP4 (EURO 5) and Scania EURO R730 trucks. SCR Emulator V4 EVO is designed in the same way as other our SCR emulators. The device simply replicates original Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) of the truck and overrides its functions and stops the consumption of AdBlue or similar DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid). Emulators are tested so there will be no issues with additional smoke from the exhaust system, no power loss of the engine, or other similar problems. Emulators are made in the EU from high-quality electronic components. However, you need to install this device only in the dry areas of your truck as they are not waterproof. Emulators are shipped ready to install, with all necessary cables and installation manual.
